Overview

WC2026 Fixtures (wc2026fixtures.com) is a free, independently run site that shows the FIFA World Cup 2026 schedule with timezone conversion and optional email alerts. We collect the minimum data needed to provide the service. We do not sell your data.

Data we collect

• Email address — only if you subscribe to fixture alerts. Used solely to send you the daily match digest.
• Timezone preference — stored in your browser's localStorage. Never sent to our servers unless you subscribe.
• Team preferences — if you choose "My team(s) only" when subscribing. Stored alongside your email in our database.
• Payment details — if you leave a tip via Stripe. We never see or store your card information; Stripe handles all payment processing.

We do not collect names, phone numbers, location data, or any information beyond what is listed above.

How we use your data

• Sending daily World Cup fixture digest emails on match days (subscribers only)
• Displaying kickoff times in your chosen timezone
• Processing voluntary tips via Stripe

We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the service.

Third-party services

• Supabase — database provider. Stores subscriber email addresses, timezone, and team preferences on servers in the EU.
• Resend — transactional email delivery. Receives your email address to deliver confirmation and daily digest emails.
• Stripe — payment processor for tips. Stripe's privacy policy applies to any payment data.
• Vercel — website hosting. May log request metadata (IP address, user agent) for security and performance purposes.
• Google AdSense — advertising. Google may use cookies to serve personalised ads based on your browsing history. You can opt out via Google's Ad Settings.
• Vercel Analytics — anonymous page view analytics. No personal data is collected or stored.

Cookies & browser storage

This site does not set tracking cookies of its own. We use localStorage (not cookies) to remember your timezone preference and light/dark theme choice. This data stays in your browser and is never transmitted to our servers.

Google AdSense may set advertising cookies. You can manage or disable these in your browser settings or via Google's opt-out tools.

Your rights

• Unsubscribe — every digest email contains a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe at /unsubscribe.
• Data deletion — to have your email address and preferences permanently deleted from our database, contact us at the address below. We will process requests within 30 days.
• Data portability — you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you at any time.

Data retention

Subscriber data is retained for as long as your subscription is active. When you unsubscribe, your record is marked inactive. To request full deletion, contact us below.
